Note: This is in no particular order, each beach featured in this post has its own charm and beauty. I hope you can visit any of them one day, and if you do, give me a shout!
- Playa de Muro, Majorca:
Playa de Muro is a beach blessed with powdery white sand and crystal-clear Mediterranean waters. Stretching along the northern coast of Majorca, it offers a perfect blend of tranquility and recreational activities. As the sun dances on the horizon, Playa de Muro beckons with its serene beauty, making it a must-visit for beach lovers, real beauty indeed. - Cala St Vincent, Majorca:
Ahh the enchanting Cala St Vincent, a hidden gem on the northeastern coast of Majorca. Nestled amidst pine-clad hills, this cove lures visitors with its emerald-green waters and secluded charm. It is ideal for those seeking a quieter retreat. Cala St Vincent is a testament to nature’s unspoiled beauty above and underwater! Make sure to bring your snorkels and be surprised! - Ses Illetes, Formentera:
Now, let’s set sail to the sweet little island of Formentera. The island of Formentera is about 45 minutes away from Ibiza. You can reach the island via big ferries that operates from Port Ibiza. Either explore the island for a day trip or stay there for the whole week which ever suits you.
We first visited the island for a day trip from Ibiza and because it was so beautiful, the following year we went back for a whole week in the island. The island offers endless coast of sandy beaches and it has a special place in my heart, this is where I said “I do”!
Pristine Ses Illetes in Formentera is often hailed as one of Europe’s best beaches. With its Caribbean-like turquoise waters and powdery sand, Ses Illetes is a paradise for sun-seekers. Enjoy the laid-back atmosphere, take a dip in the clear sea, and relish the breathtaking views that make this beach a true slice of heaven.
The closest to exotic white sand beaches back home (Philippines). The only thing missing here are the palm trees, the rest is just almost equally beautiful. - Es Pujols, Formentera:
Venture a little further to discover Es Pujols, a vibrant beach town on the northern coast of Formentera. Known for its lively atmosphere, Es Pujols offers a unique blend of sun, sea, and Spanish charm. Explore the bustling promenade, indulge in local cuisine, and soak in the lively spirit of this coastal gem.
This is just 2 of many many beautiful beaches in Formentera. I would recommend to explore the island and if possible all reachable beaches. Yes the island is so small, it stretches to about 20km from east to west, so definitely doable!. - Cala Nova, Ibiza:
Ibiza’s Cala Nova beckons with its fine sandy beach and turquoise waters, creating a perfect escape from the island’s party scene. Surrounded by pine-covered hills, this beach provides a tranquil haven for those seeking a balance between relaxation and natural beauty. Cala Nova is a testament to Ibiza’s diverse coastal offerings.
It’s my family’s favourite beach, we used to come here almost every year with the kids. But now kids have grown, hoping we could come visit again!
We used to stay in a camping place which is only 50 meters away from the beach! - Spiaggia Bados, Sardinia:
Jumping over to the Italian shores, Spiaggia Bados in Sardinia captivates with its fine sandy beach and emerald-green waters. Tucked away near Olbia, this beach offers a picturesque setting for a day of sun-soaked relaxation. Immerse yourself in the beauty of Spiaggia Bados and let the Italian charm unfold. - Porto Istana, Sardinia:
Porto Istana is a BIG WONDERFUL Surprise, because it’s only a short drive away from the city of Olbia. It is a hidden paradise on the northeastern coast of Sardinia. With its soft sands and transparent waters, Porto Istana is a haven for snorkelers and beach lovers alike. Unwind on the shoreline, savor the panoramic views, and bid farewell to this coastal gem.
